Return & Refund Policy

At Prime Powertrain, we stand behind the quality of our aftermarket ring gears and powertrain components.

6-Month Limited Warranty All parts come with a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects. This covers the part only — labor, downtime, shipping, or consequential damages are not included. Warranty is void if the part fails due to improper installation, lack of lubrication, or modification. In all instances, Prime Powertrain's sole liability will be either replacing the defective part or a refund not to exceed the purchase price of the defective part.

General Returns (Change of Mind)

  • 14-day return window from delivery date.
  • Item must be unused, in original packaging, and resalable.
  • Buyer pays return shipping.
  • 15% restocking fee applies.

Warranty / Defective Returns

  • Report within 7 days of discovering the issue (and within the 6-month period).
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. If the part is inspected and confirmed to have a legitimate manufacturing defect, Prime Powertrain will refund the return shipping cost or add it to the replacement order.
  • Returned parts must be cleaned of heavy grease/oil prior to shipping. Failure to do so may result in delays or voided claims.
  • Approved warranty claims: We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion..
  • In all instances, Prime Powertrain's sole liability will be either replacing the defective part or a refund not to exceed the purchase price of the defective part.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Installed or used parts (except valid warranty claims)
  • Special order or custom-manufactured items
  • Clearance or heavily discounted items

Return Process

  1. Contact us at returns@tractorgears.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
  2. We will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number if approved.
  3. Ship the item back with the RA number clearly written on the outside of the box.
  4. Refunds (if applicable) are issued within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
