Prime Powertrain Limited Warranty Policy

Coverage: Prime Powertrain warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

What This Warranty Covers: This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects manifesting under normal, intended use and proper installation. Coverage is strictly limited to the original part sold by Prime Powertrain.

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover (Exclusions): This warranty is void if the part has been modified, disassembled, or altered in any way. Prime Powertrain is not liable for damage or failure resulting from:

  • Improper Installation: Incorrect torque specifications, improper press-fitting, misalignment, or failure to follow the OEM service manual.
  • Lubrication Failures: Operation with inadequate, incorrect, or contaminated lubricants (e.g., water in the oil, metal shavings in the final drive).
  • External Damage: Physical damage caused by foreign objects, debris, or collateral failure of surrounding components (e.g., a destroyed bearing that seizes the gear).
  • Normal Wear & Tear: Surface wear, minor scoring, or cosmetic imperfections that do not impede the mechanical function of the part.
  • Misapplication: Use in applications, equipment models, or horsepower ratings beyond the specified parameters of the part.
  • Commercial/Industrial Abuse: Use in rental fleets, extreme shock-load applications, or environments outside of standard agricultural/construction use unless explicitly stated.

Limitation of Liability: PRIME POWERTRAIN’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PART. Under no circumstances shall Prime Powertrain be liable for the cost of removal, installation, labor, towing, downtime, rental of replacement equipment, or any other incidental or consequential damages.

Claim Procedures: The procedural rules for initiating a warranty claim—including mandatory RMA authorization, return shipping obligations, part cleaning requirements, and inspection protocols—are strictly governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Failure to adhere to the procedures outlined in the Return & Refund Policy constitutes a waiver of this warranty.
